Overview
Fear is a natural emotion of pregnant women. Sometimes not communicated it may intensify and then it has a negative influence on a woman, a child and a birth. The aim of the study was to identify out whether pregnant women contents fear and his coping. 156 pregnant women were interviewed (29.7 ± 4,7 years). The method of data collection was a questionnaire, resulting from Melender table contens fear. We have found that pregnant women experience the greatest fear of the health of the child (64,1 %) and the fear of the childbirth (21,8 %). To overcome fear most women helps conversation with a support person (47.1%) and in the interview and support of a doctor/midwife (21.6 %). Conclusions research has shown some facts that may help to improve primary health care for pregnant women within preventing and coping with the fear in pregnancy and during the birth.
