Hormone replacement therapy in women with history of endometriosis

Overview
Objective:
The aim of study was to evaluate compliance of two different climacteric therapy possibilities.
Methods:
Prospective randomized study with 1 mg estradiol + 0,5 mg norethisteronacetate versus 2.5 mg tibolon in group of 30 women.
Results:
Compliance of combined low-dose therapy was 67 %, compliance of tibolon was 80 % after 12 month of study.
Conclusion:
Tibolon is wisely given as first vote for hormone replacement therapy for women with personal history of endometriosis. The literary data are confirmed by our results.
