Overview
The authors present the case of a 57-year-old woman with a very rare extragenital malignant retroperitoneal Müllerian carcinosarcoma invading the inferior vena cava. Tumor resection with partial resection of the vena cava wall and resection of metastases in the pelvic area is described. The authors further discuss diagnostic options of metastases of this tumour and the recommended adjuvant chemotherapy.
