Overview
The working activity is often performed in unsuitable positions, so called imposed working positions, connected with thelong-term, excessive and one-sided load of certain groups of postural muscles. Discrepancy between parameters of the workingplace and body parameters of workers is usually the cause.Unsuitable working conditions cause health problems of different degree and also unnecessary fatigue. The aim of this study wasto confirm whether the height parameters of the working place conform to the anthropometric parameters of workers and also tofind out what are the relationships between the age, exposure and different degrees of health problems. Therefore, 30 anthropometricparameters in 100 women in a selected factory were measured; health problems were detected by means of a questionnaire andparameters of the working place were assessed.
