Overview
The directive No.
277/2004 of the Digest requires that a physician reviewer demands a special examina- tion in some cases when assessing ability to drive motor vehicles. Most mental disorders are contraindicated to driving and require a special examination. However, current legislation does not provide unequivocal instruction to assess significance. Therefore, in practice it depends especially on communication between the physician reviewer and the specialist.
