The author draws attention to the need of systematic professional (medical) control in the health services and analyzes itspossibilities. To this end he uses experience of the Medical service which works as an expert and control organ in Germany. Hedraws attention to the fact that a much greater effectiveness of control can be expected if it is systematically performed ina planned manner. In the conclusion he evaluates the advantages ensuing from systematic control in the health services.
