Overview

the Czech Republic the public administration is being reformed. For public health insurance it is important that this reformwill have an impact on the regional health policy. The author concludes, based on broader contexts of the problem and examplesfrom the activity of revision medical officers, that their activity is closely related with the regional health policy. Because withoutknowledge of the health status of the insured clients and without knowledge of the conditions in the network of healthinstitutions in the town and region it is not possible to implement a reasonable health policy. The places of operation of revisionmedical officers in smaller region will be justified and not only those in major administrative centers

Key words:
reform of public administration – regional health policy of district insurance office – revision medical officers –European Union – antibiotic policy
