The authors present statistical evidence of the relationship between the number of health professional and the expenditure perinsured subject in districts of the Czech Republic. Using the correlation coefficient and linear regression function data of thehealth insurance company of bank, insurance company and building industry employees were processed. The suitability ofthe used regression model was tested by the F-test and t-tests. The tests confirmed the significance of the results and thepaper confirms also that it is essential in deal with the problem of the network of health institutions under conditions prevailingin the Czech Republic.
