Overview
The article reviews rent findings on the acute pharyngotonsilitis. In the aetiology of the disease viral infectionsprevail. In the bacterial aetiology of the acute pharyngotonsilitis mainly group A streptococci predominate. Individualtypes of pharyngotonsilitis are specified, and their typical clinical symptoms, diagnostics and therapy are given.
