Overview

Reminiscence therapy is a psychosocial intervention which is currently applied in elderly care only marginally even though it plays an important role in their social life. Research results focused on use of reminiscence in elderly care present positive findings in the area of communication and mood influence, life satisfaction and cognitive functions. The objective of our work was to research the influence of reminiscence therapy on the presence of depression symptoms and condition of cognitive functions at elders in long-term care.
