Overview
This article describes the safety of perioperative care according to WHO criteria. It is compared how are the WHO security procedures and principles of hygiene policy implemented in operating theatres in the Czech Republic and Sweden. “Clean Care is Safer Care” is a global program initiated by World Alliance for Patient Safety under World Health Organization. This program together with “Safe Surgery Saves Lives” aim to improve patient safety in hospitals around the world.
