Overview

Sexual orientation is lifelong and unchangeble preference. Homosexual orientation is no longer considered a psychopathological diagnosis. The term bisexuality does not label the orientation (the inner disposition), but means a certain behavior (sexual contacts with both sexes). The vast majority of those who come to sexological departments with “bisexual” orientation are ego-dystonic homosexuals.

Key words:
sexual orientation, homosexuality, bisexuality.
