Overview
The aim of the work is to evaluate the possibilities, advantages and disadvantages of laparoscopicoperation technique in the surgery of colorectal cancer. Our present limited experience inlaparoscopy is compared with the classical surgical procedure in the technique of operation, radicalness of resection, post-operation recovery, post-operation complications and the economicaspects. It proved to be difficult to make a sober evaluation of the possibilities and risks oflaparoscopic technique, which is sometimes under an economic pressure.
