Overview
The Czech Republic ranks among the countries in which serological surveys of measles havelong-standing tradition. The first ones come from the 1970s.Up to 1990 measles serology surveys were conducted annually. Further such surveys have beenmade in 1992 and 1996.The results of hitherto conducted serological surveys have been summarized and presenteda Tutorial Day in the year 2000.Herein are presented preliminary results of the serological survey of measles in 2001.In view of that the major indicator of a successful vaccination program is morbidity, we arepresenting some charts that have been used at the Tutorial Day devoted to problems of measlesin April 2000.
