Overview
A survey of geneticists’ views on ethics in 37 countries - including our country (authors of theproject are Dorothy C. Werts and John C. Fletcher) is presented. Some questions of thisquestionnaire were given to medical students and their views and opinions were compared tothose of Czech geneticists. The results prove important differences in some points of view. Theopinions of our geneticists differ also from the views of other geneticists. The importance ofteaching of medical ethics is stressed in this context and the method of case-records is presentedas the best approach.
