Overview
Rare cystadenocarcinoma of prostate; clinical appearance, diagnostic procedures and treatment. The authors present a case report of a very rare variant of prostate cancer – cystadenocarcinoma. The main symptoms were caused subvesical obstruction. The diagnosis was based on MRI and transrectal sonography. The patient underwent robot-assisted radical prostatectomy and definitive histology was confirmed on the excised specimen. Only 30 cases of this rare prostate cystadenocarcinoma have been described worldwide.
