The case of Mycobacterium marinum infection on the left arm in a 39-year-old man with polyvalentallergy in personal history is reported. He presented with skin lesions showing histopatologicalpicture compatible with the clinical diagnosis of mycobacteriosis and the causative organism -Mycobacterium marinum - was confirmed by cultivation.The patient since childhood has been an aquarist. The combined therapy with rifampicin,ethambutol and ciprofloxacin for 12 months resulted in small, cosmetically acceptable scars. Twoyears after mycobacteriosis treatment the dermorespiratory syndrome occurred.
