The authors present the case of 60 years old female patient on chronic immunosupressive therapyfor kidney transplantation with scabies norvegica clinically resembling psoriasis and thereforetreated with topical corticosteroids. Histological and microscopical findings confirmed the diagnosisof scabies norvegica. The authors point at diagnostical difficulties of scabies norvegica and stressthe necessity of following the suggested treatment guidelines including application of antiscabieticsalso in the scalp in cases of recurring scabies and in immunosupressed patients.
