Overview
The aim of the recent study was to investigate the occurrence of the lymphocytes subpopulationsin a skin tissue of the healthy donors. We investigated the skin biopsies of 16 patients without anyskin diseases and without any immunomodulation treatment. There was found relatively lawpresence of lymphocytes (1 %) in the skin samples. There were found T-lymphocytes almost exclusively. In the skin samples percentage of B-cells (CD19+), naturals killers (CD16+CD56+), helper/inducerT-lymphocytes (CD3+CD4+), suppressor/cytotoxic T-lymphocytes (CD3+CD8+), CD4/CD8 ratio, activated T-lymphocytes (CD3+HLA-DR+, CD3+CD25+, CD3+CD69+), naive T-lymphocytesCD4+CD45RA+) was determined. Compared with peripheral blood there was an increase of some ofthe activation markers on the surface of the skin cells, what may be probably connected witha continuous touch of the skin with the antigens of an external environment.
