Amyloidosis AL Type Associated with Ductal Carcinoma of the Breast

Case-report of a 68-year-old patient who was examined on account of erythematous and hyperpigmentednodules on both legs persisting for four years is discussed. Probatory excisions andsubsequent histopathological examination proved amyloidosis type AL. During the subsegmentexamination programe a ductal carcinoma of the right breast was detected which was subsequentlytreated surgically, by chemotherapy, actinotherapy and hormonal therapy. Myeloma and affectionof other organs was not confirmed. The dermatological finding is stationary without progression.
