The aim of the study was to examine the conditions of nutrition in 116 carriersof full denture formed in the occluder without objective stomatognathic registration. In orderto evaluate nutritional conditions the author used a combination of results of a questionnaireabout nutritional customs (?), anthropometric measurement of BMI and laboratory determinationof the level of albumin, minerals, oral examination of malnutrition symptoms and quantitativedetermination of mixed saliva. Malnutrition was demonstrated in 10 individuals of theexamined substitution carriers at the age of 45–89 years. The were 7 cases of protein-energymalnutrition and three subjects with protein malnutrition. It also became obvious that 48patients were severely endangered with malnutrition.
