The author deals with the possibility of placing an endosseous implant immediatelyafter the tooth extraction. He emphasizes very satisfactory therapeutical results of thistype of treatment. High success rate of this method, shortening of the treatment time and verygood aesthetical results are strong arguments for putting this method into practice. The paperis part of the research project IGA NK 6065-3/2000.
