Overview
In a group of 134 children, mean age 10.4 years, the author investigated thedistribution of incidence, site and morphology of supernumerary teeth in the frontal portion ofthe upper jaw and their effect on the adjacent permanent incisors. 90% of the supernumeraryteeth were in the region of the middle incisors. Impaired eruption of the incisor was mostfrequently caused by the tuberculate type of supernumerary tooth.
