Overview
In 1997–1999 authors performed epidemiologic survey of 5-6-year-old childrenin some districts of Slovak Republic. All informations were collected under standardizedmethods done by WHO. For determination of caries incidence they used DMFT or dmft index. Also they analysed state of treatment of permanent molars in group of 5-6-year-old children (n= 660). Separately in 5-year-old children (n = 289) state of deciduous molars and in 6-year-oldchildren. The results show relatively high percentages of sound deciduous molars in 5-year oldchildren from Bratislava. These children are treated systematically.
