Overview

The post-traumatic stress disorder in classified pursuant to MKN-10 in the large F43 chapter -severe stress reactions and defects of adaptability. Compared to the acute stress reaction, thepost-traumatic stress disorder is a delayed or protracted reaction. Therapy is based on diagnosisand it is important to commence the therapy in time in order to prevent behavioral, biologicaland morphological changes. The therapy requires a specific complex approach, including psychotherapyas well as pharmacotherapy, if children are involved.
