The author presents a review of the main special features of the psychosexual development ofparaphiliac subjects. These anamnestic signs can according to his view contribute in an impor-tant way to assessment of the diagnosis of a sexual deviation and assessment of the sexual orien-tation of probands. In addition to assessment of psychosexual developmental specific features herecommends within the framework of the anamnestic exploration also an analysis of other sphe-res of life of the clients which may play an important role in subsequent treatment and influencesubstantially also possible relapses of delinquent sexual behaviour.
