Overview
The paper presents some procedures of the analytical evaluation of a newly prepared substance withbeta-adrenolytic activity. The substance was characterised by its melting point, solubility; theexperimental partition coefficient, dissociation constant, surface activity were determined. Theprocedures for identification, purity evaluation and determination of the content of the activeprinciple ( 1 H-NMR, 13 C-NMR, IR, UV spectra, thin-layer chromatography, acidimetric determina-tion in a non-aqueous medium, extraction titration in a heterogeneous medium, extraction-photo-metric determination) were elaborated.
