The author presents possible surgical approaches in Duane’s syndrome I. Theweakening operation of the medial rectus muscle by means of marginal myotomyis recommended in case of striking ocular torticolis. The bifurcation recession ofthe lateral rectus muscle is recommended in case of change of palpebral fissure.The author documents the indications and the afterurgery results.
