The authors examined, using transmission electron microscopy, the lenticularcapsule obtained during phacoemulsification by circular capsulorrhexy in pseu-doexfoliation syndrome. The assembled findings indicate degenerative changesof the lenticular capsule, manifested by destruction of the surface layer.
