The Czech Society of Burn Medicine also values results of scientific research work, benefits for clinical practice in prevention, pathology, comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation of burned patients. In 2016, this Prize was awarded to Professor Rajko Doleček, MD, DSc, for his discoveries and scientific contribution to elucidate endocrinological processes in burn trauma.
