Overview
The article provides an overview of the effects of massage at various diagnoses and clinical states. The positive effects of massage on the human body are documented by many studies. It is advisable to indicate massage as a complementary procedure, or as a preparation for more specific and effective methods of therapy. A review of proven mass effects outlines a wide range of uses. The author of this article, however, sees methodological reserves in some experiments in which the massage was used. Therefore, he supports the view of some authors of meta-analyzes stressing the tightening of the methodologies of such thematic studies.
