Overview

Lately, we are the witnesses of a dynamic development of a new form of electrotherapy, the soalleddistant electrotherapy. This method has been developed and patented in the Czech Republic. Distantelectrotherapy is fully in intentions of perspective methods of pulsed electromagnetic (signal)therapies. The method is based on a complete exclusion of invasive or contact electrodes. Byapplication of specific electromagnetic pulses, induced electric currents (Faraday currents) arecreated directly in depth tissues. These currents represent a specific therapeutic element. In thisway, these methods considerably differ from the wellnown therapeutic applications of magnetotherapy and they achieve extraordinal effects in decrease of pain, improving the functional performace and stimulation of growth, regenerative, and healing processes. The submitted workdocuments a considerable abatement of pain and other effects achieved during the treatment ofmany patients during the past of several years.
