Advances achieved in improvement of the quality of life and prolongation of the mean life span ofpatients with multiple sclerosis is at present mainly due to rehabilitation. In the submitted overviewthe author presents the main principles of rational rehabilitation treatment in relation to the severityof the pathological process indicating possibilities of remedial rehabilitation in the main symptomsand signs of the disease.
