The article deals with the inaccuracy of terms in the Czech special literature which are concerningto the region of saunology, which have been frequently arising by mechanical taking over from theforeign literature. It warns on the possibility to use the flexibility of the Czech language for thespecification of conceptions just at the Finnish word „sauna“ as the basis. It classifies the „sauna“only as the construction–technical term. For specific physical environment created in sauna it usesthe term „sauna bath“ and for the stay of a man in it the term „sauna bathing (sauning)“. The articlepropose to distinguish these terms either in the special literature and the common one in the concernof the more accurate expression on the substance and the mutual understanding following from it.
