Overview
A frameless intrauterine device broadens the range of options available for intrauterine contraception. It is highly effective and is associated with a minimum of adverse effects. In comparison to the classical copper IUDs, it is, owing to its small size, better tolerated, does not intensify menstrual bleeding and requires smaller dilatation of the cervical canal.
