Synechia vulvae infantum: risk factors for occurance and prevention

Overview
The article is describing synechia vulvae, symptoms, occurence and treatment. Difficulty by the unpleasant treatment is communication with parents and the young female. Results of a clinical study have shown the cause of synechia genesis. Advice and instructions to the mother of a female neonate in maternity hospital and by pediatrician in terms of how to take care of the infant’s vulva in the proper way are necessary. It is also important to add an extra rinsing programme in washing mashine for children’s undergarments. Finally, prevence of synechia vulvae occurence is accentuated.
