Overview

Since the 1990’s there have been increased efforts to evaluate the quality of life of patients in all medical fields. Quality of life is a standard part of the algorithms used to evaluate disease severity, treatment efficacy or different treatment modalities. Until now, there has been no validated Czech version of the questionnaire for evaluation of the quality of life in patients with CRS. In the article the Czech version of 22-item Sino-nasal Outcome test (SNOT-22) is presented. The Czech version has been already validated and thus represents a suitable tool for assessing the quality of life of patients with CRS and the effectiveness of surgical treatment which can be recommended to all Czech colleagues.

Key words:
