A supraglottic laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma inan eleven-year-old child was diagnosed and treated at the E.N.T. Clinic of the 2 nd Faculty of the Charles University of Prague at the end of 1999. The girl was operated by horizontal laryngectomyand resection of the radix of the tongue and cervical lymph node dissection. This was followed byactinotherapy (60,4 Gy). Therapy was well tolerated.
