Overview
The authors present a review dealing with the carpal tunnel syndrome. The etiology, symptoms, diagnostics and possible therapy and prevention are outlined.
The objective of the contribution is to summarize present knowledge and thereby offer the basis for efficient therapy and prevention of the disease, which has been proved as one of the most frequent occupational diseases.
