After the Czech Republic will join the European Union (EU) it will be necessary among others to respect also regulations of theEU pertaining to social security of subject migrating from the Czech Republic into EU members countries and vice versa. Theseregulations are formulated to enable full use of the “primary“ right of free movement of workers in the EU. The submitted articlepresents those parts of the Regulations of EEC 1408/71 and Regulations of EEC 574/72, which pertain to the problem of claims ofbenefits, which arise in migrating workers in case of occupational injuries and occupational diseases.
