Overview
High pressure induces central nervous system hyperexcitability. This is demonstrated on three experiments implemente+d in theprogramme of „Atlantis“ and „Comex-hydra“. The results indicate the relevance of individual susceptibility to environmentalpressure, the composition of the breathing mixture, the importance of slow compression with breaks and adaptation to the affect ofpressure.
