The paper deals with the problem of accreditation of doctors for some special operations or activities. The author presents theexample of a test on the basis of which in the past the Advisory Centre for Divers issued doctors with a certificate on professionalability of health care of divers.The expanding volume of scientific findings in medicine will necesitate specialization of doctors in narrower disciplines thanhitherto. This applies also to the extensive discipline of occupational medicine.
