Overview
Ophthalmological examination is a part of the screening examination from the earliest age of the individual and accompanies his/her whole life. It represents a complex of objective and subjective methods of examination, which provides information about the conditions of vision from the quantitative and qualitative points of view. Vision examination has been described in numerous textbooks and articles in much more detail that this article may include, yet it should serve as a reminder of basic principles and present possibilities of ophthalmological examination for physicians of other specializations.
