Overview
The authors investigated the relationship between the ratio of radioactivity of 99mTc-DMSAcumulated by the kidneys two hours after intravenous administration with other examinationmethods of renal functions. They investigated the relationship to the urea and creatinine plasmalevel, to the glomerular filtration and tubular reabsorption assessed by creatinine clearance andthe gradient of the second stage of the nephrographic curve. They used Spearman´s correlationcoefficient and figures of regression lines. The value of the examined parameter correlates with allmentioned methods.
Key words:
cumulation of 99mTc-DMSA by kidneys - urea - creatinine - creatinine clearance - trendof nephrographic curve - correlation
