Overview
The article deals with the life and work of the eminent professor of internal medicine Josef Škoda, a native of Plzeň, who especially deserved of the introduction of examination by percussion and auscultation. He supported materially his nephew Emil and so he contributed to the expansion of Škoda’s factory in Plzeň.
