Significant advance in the treatment of the primary pulmonary hypertension (PPH) has been achieved in the pastdecade. Continuous intravenous prostacyclin and lung transplantation have become complex and effective approachesin the therapy of PPH. Indication, technique, postoperative care and results of lung transplantation for PPH arediscussed.
