Overview

This case report presents a 97-year-old man admitted for treatment following a sudden episode of dyspnea and a chronic cough persisting for several months, accompanied by swallowing difficulties. A thorough assessment was conducted, including internal and gastroenterological evaluations. After identifying the underlying cause, adjustments were made to his medication and lifestyle regimen, resulting in the restoration of adequate oral intake. The patient was subsequently discharged home without requiring any additional invasive nutritional interventions.
