Clinical guidelines on Frailty evaluation in a geriatric patient were developed and approved by the Board of the Czech Society of Gerontology and Geriatrics based on international guidelines. The importance of frailty is outlined in the context of public health. The main charecteristics of frailty are described. The guidelines summarize content of the clinical evaluation of frailty and the recommended clinical management of frailty.
