Pancreatic cancer and epileptic paroxysm as the first symptom – case report

Overview

Pancreatic cancer (PA) belongs among highly malignant tumours. Its incidence has been increasing and there are about 20 new cases per 100 thousand people currently. To compare – the incidence was about 15 cases per 100 thousand people in 2000. PA is mostly diagnosed in patients between sixty and seventy years of age, but there is significantly higher risk of PA in patients at the age of fifty. The symptoms are very insignificant and sometimes very atypical, as I can refer in the case report below.
