Overview

Mindfulness is a useful component of the treatment and prevention of many health problems, and enhances the effects of psychotherapy. The ability to be mindfully aware of the body, mind and environment is far from perfect in many patients. We describe some of the easily applicable techniques how to improve mindfulness. Mindfulness is also the important part of the prevention of professional stress in health workers.
